Summer LEAP 2027
Daily, one-on-one summer intervention, online or in coastal Maine, for kids who learn their own way. We have been running intensive learning centers each summer for 15 years now. Families return summer after summer for fun, memories, and learning that works for all students. 2027 dates coming soon.
LEAP Instruction
Most summer programs are designed to keep students busy or prevent learning loss. LEAP is built so students start fall with new skills. Every session is one-on-one and built around what your child needs; there is no generic curriculum and no group where your learner gets a fraction of the teacher's attention.
A Day at LEAP
LEAP runs in two formats. Online: ten one-on-one sessions per week, 55 minutes each, at 8:00 and 9:00 each morning with a quick break in the middle. In person, at our Brunswick office: four hours a day, five days a week. The sample days below show two sample students, one in each format.
These are sample lessons. The content of daily instruction is dictated by each student’s learning profile.

Different formats serve different needs; weekly tutoring is the right fit for many students. LEAP exists for students who need concentrated intervention.

We are committed to working against the way that racial and socioeconomic privilege manifests itself in the identification and remediation of learning disabilities.
We do what we can by offering need based scholarships, providing services in some of Maine's lowest resource schools, and working pro-bono with grant based educational advocates for Maine's most economically disadvantaged students with the toughest cases. This is how we do what we can to help ALL students get what they need.
