Professional Development and Consultation

Maine is an incredible place and one that everyone is proud to call home. As schools struggle to close ongoing opportunity gaps within both public and private education sectors, Pine State Learning is committed to offering more than just affordable tutoring, we want to equip public schools.

Pine State Learning hopes to be a pioneering entity in the effort to ensure that every Maine student has the tools they need to succeed not only in reading and math instruction, but also throughout the duration of their academic careers and beyond.

We aim to support school districts through structured, research-based multi-sensory instruction training for teachers, scaling from one-on-one mentoring to district-wide curriculum implementation.

If you are an educator or school administrator and would like to learn more about how Pine State Learning can help advance your special education, and tier II and III reading and math curriculums, please reach out.

"Lisa's training is thorough and informative. It made me feel confident in teaching students with learning disabilities."

Teacher Resources

Teaching learners with learning differences like dyscalculia and dyslexia does not have to be hard.

We have been teaching kids with "tough" profiles for a long time.  The kids who do not progress no matter what program you use. And we want to help.

Ask us for a resource, and if we have it, it's yours. Seriously, if you teach at a public school and there is something we can share to make your ability to provide services more effective, you can have it, for free. No need to sign up for a mailing list, no gimmicks.

Sometimes your best lesson is the one someone else prepped and you just polished.  We have plenty of lesson plans for Orton-Gillingham, Seeing Stars, LIPS, Visualizing and Verbalizing, and On Cloud Nine Math, just a Google share away.

And, we are always willing to share or offer advice. Seriously, try us.
